Approximately 15 km from Nowy Sącz, another dam reservoir on the Dunajec river is surrounded by steep, though not high, hills.

In Gródek there is a large, popular guarded beach. You can rent water bikes or kayaks here. The PTTK Beskid boathouse in Znamirowice (beskid.pttk.pl), on the west side of the lake, has a rich offer of water equipment (yachts, boats, windsurfing boards, kayaks, motorboats). Above the lake there are a lot of holiday resorts with their own bathing areas and equipment rentals.
